IGIGI at the American Beauties Plus Pageant
Representing a multitude of things from my beautiful state of Indiana as Ms. Indiana American Beauties Plus to my charity platform the Josh Groban Foundation, it was important for me to find that perfect evening gown to compete for the national title in Atlanta Georgia.
After much hunting and picking, I chose a gown from IGIGI. I have worn IGIGI clothes before from photo shoots to dance numbers and I knew that quality wouldn't be a concern and comfort would be part of anything I choose.
Four weeks before the American Beauties Plus National pageant, I received IGIGI's Empire Waist Gown with Jewels in Red to wear during the evening gown part of the competition. I couldn't wait to try it on. I stood in the full length mirror with the gown on for the first time and was absolutely thrilled to see that this dress fit like it was made specifically for me! No alterations were needed.
Although the pageant was weeks away, I couldn't wait to walk the runway in my beautiful IGIGI gown and I tried it on multiple times over that four-week span of time just to make sure that I wasn't dreaming that I found the perfect dress.
February 09, finally arrived and as I stood next to the other contestants waiting to walk on for the evening gown portion of the competition, I already felt like a queen.
Walking on stage in my gown gave me such a boost of confidence that I knew I could walk that runway to sell this dress if I had to. I felt sexy (can I say that as a queen?) and not having to worry about what my dress looked like or how I looked in it eased my mind during such an intense weekend.
I received a lot of compliments that evening and the biggest compliment was being crowned the new Ms. American Beauties Plus 2008! I had won the national title and did it in an IGIGI gown! Thank you IGIGI for helping me win my very first national title!
