1. Masculine Meets Feminine
The runways featured menswear prominently this Fall, with suiting at the forefront. This season's suits combine richly textured fabrics straight from Saville Row with ultra-femme details like luxurious linings and demure ruffles to once again prove that opposites really do attract. |

2. Purple Reign
Rich shades of plum, wine and berry ruled the season and graced gowns, blouses and accessories in both prints and solids. Finally, a way to enjoy some wine during the workday. |

Luscious shades of berry compliment almost every skin tone. Whether it’s a sassy colorblock dress or a luxe silk top, working shades of purple into your wardrobe will give you an instant style update. |
|
3. Sexy Geometry
Math has never looked like so much fun. Sharp angles, clean lines and blocks of color add up to a chic look that makes this one style equation you’ll be dying to solve. |

| Geometry is all about lines, angles and our favorite part, curves. We paired clean, simple silhouettes with angular color blocks so that your curves are simultaneously flattered and featured.

4. Shades of Gray
Difficult questions have complicated answers. So what’s the new neutral for fall? The answer isn’t black and white- it’s gray. Lots of gray. Designers flooded the runway with everything from pretty party dresses to sculpted suiting in tones ranging from dark charcoals to dove grays. |

To make the most of this look, experiment with combining different textures and subtle prints for an avant-garde but modern tone on tone ensemble. |

5. Amazing Lace
The ultimate in femininity, lace appeared all over the runway in sophisticated dresses that went from dark and sultry to light and innocent. Heavy brocades exemplified the tendency to express detail via texture, and the sweetly scalloped edges and delicate designs give these designs an added touch of elegance.

Some styles of lace dresses this season were more see-through that peek-a-boo, so we were sure to add lining worthy of being showcased. The combination of black lace and bright color is a sure winner, as is heavy lace detail on a simple black dress. |
|
6. Flower Power
This season’s crop of prints are a far cry from the light, breezy, colorful florals of summer. Expect oversized, abstract prints in deep shades of brown, berry and black. The look for fall is both feminine and eclectic, so dare to pair these florals with textured fabrics like tweed, bouclé or velvet. |

These original patterns are perfect way to keep fresh flowers on hand all winter long. We chose just the right print size that will best compliment a curvy body. |

8. Ruffle Some Feathers
Whether you wear them outrageously oversized or simple and subtle, ruffles add a playful dose of femininity to your style. Ruffled blouses made a strong showing when worn with a smart skirt suit.

We added ruffle details at the neck to draw attention to the décolleté, neck and face, and trimmed cuffs with decorative details to accent otherwise sleek looks. |

8. Double Take
Look again! Designers tricked us with polished, put-together looks that mimic well styled outfits, but have the simplicity of a dress. High-waisted pencil skirts met blouson tops, and two-toned knitwear imitated the look of a darling sweater set. The combinations reflected current trends in menswear looks and fabrics, but the result are dresses that are all woman. |

9. Back to Basics
Runways featured easygoing basics in muted tones for winter. To capture the separates trend, mix a lightweight blouse over a layering top with your suit pants, and add a skinny belt at your natural waist or a skinny scarf looped around your neck to accessorize. Plaids, tweeds, and herringbones are must-have fabrics. |
|
|
| IGIGI’s fashion must-haves are classic, and versatile. There’s nothing like the perfect button down shirt when you don’t know what to wear with your sassy new trousers, or the perfect wrap jacket layering top that skims your curves. Plaid has also become a runway staple, and makes a great statement piece in any wardrobe. |
