"Recently, I attended a fabulous plus model casting in New York presented by the NYC Plus Model Network. Literally hundreds of plus model hopefuls from across the country came to audition in front of a panel of judges. As always at these events it becomes a family reunion-seeing sistas I haven't seen in months and women who I have only seen through facebook. I was so proud of my Detroit chicas who turned it out in front of the panel of judges. I was really proud of all the girls I saw. Everyone had such diverse and defiant styles. I wanted to wear something comfortable and stylish. I also needed a look that would be appropriate for dinner after the event uptown.
I chose the Danette Wrap Dress by IGIGI. I could not have chosen a more appropriate dress. It was so comfortable! In classic IGIGI fashion if flowed effortlessly as I tried to navigate through the sea of beauties, which took some skill. I was surprised to find pockets, making it easy to store my camara and business cards I was collecting. I paired it with copper hoop earrings, copper cuff, brown and gold starburst statement ring and IGIGI Obi belt in black."
