"I realize wrap dresses have gotten a bad reputation due to retailers shoving them down plus size women’s throats. But in it’s defense there are plus size designers such as IGIGI who make wrap dresses that are sexy, curve hugging and appealing.
Their wrap dresses aren’t bulky or employ garish prints. IGIGI doesn’t just rely only on wrap dresses for their customers. They offer a variety of dresses that highlight our bodies. I agree that wrap dresses shouldn’t be the only option for plus size women.
It is promoted as the “must have” dress based on the perception that we want to hide and conceal our bodies. For a growing majority of us (including myself) this is simply not true. As I’ve said before, I appreciate any dress whether it be a wrap or sheath that allows me to flaunt my voluptuous shape."

"Casual Friday at the Office. I wanted to look great so I ditched the jeans! The dress hugged my curves in the right places. The fabric was good quality and not flimsy. The dress had a stretch to it but maintained its shape throughout the day. It’s a very comfortable dress.
My coworkers told me the dress was great on me and how wonderful I looked in it. A random woman in the hallway asked me where did I get my dress & I referred her to IGIGI!
As a “grown” plus size woman, I want to look good without compromising quality and fit. Im a fan because IGIGI’s clothes are made to celebrate the plus size woman’s body, not to hide it."
