"For my interview on CBS this morning, I went to my go-to designer for most of my events, IGIGI. I wore the Drew Dress ($122, Sizes 12-32) for my segment. This is one of their new arrivals and I have been eyeing it since it came on the site. I didn’t want too much color for TV nor did I want to be boring.
This was perfect. You can’t quite tell online but the top part is made of a rich chocolate brown color, in jersey material, and then the dress gradually fades into a jade-teal color at the bottom that is poly/elastane. I took a chance on my personal fashion choice this time and stepped out of MY box in an A-line dress. I usually never wear them but made a great choice in the Drew Dress.
For me already being hippy, I don’t wanna accent that area and appear wider and non-shapely in my attire, especially on TV. But for one, I was sitting for this particular interview so that worked out perfect, whooh, and two, I added my secret trick for accentuating my clothing and snatching the waist-line in, a wide belt."
"Everyone, or at least some who knows you for twenty years and more, or who knows who you are because you "became friends" on Facebook, or follow this blog and it is why you are reading now (by the way, nice Hello-o !), My imagination is whimsical, always over the top, (and I wouldn't have it any other way).
But I certainly could not have imagined an evening dress, super charming, with prominent cleavage, and stiletto heel. I do not even imagine with a bouffant crop hair-do, and not even with the clutch studded with crystals. What do you do when you are in the hands of or (better-on a hanger), a beautiful evening gown?
When you have found a dress that fits or molds itself to your temperament, mood, you must be in tune. And this is what I to did with with Drew dress, beautiful dress from the new collection of Igigi by Yulia Raquel. When I saw the metallic-green water of the skirt I intoned: " Under the Sea, down the maaar ... ". Yes, the song that was sang by the lobster Sebastian, a friend of Ariel the Little Mermaid, which had the tail of this color, I'm sure! "
