"This dress is one of my favorites from IGIGI. The colors are even more vibrant and varied in real life. I found this dress to run a bit larger around the midsection than other IGIGI styles, so if you’re between sizes, I’d size down. While I belt many of my other IGIGI dresses, the black empire waistband on this one draws the eye in and creates a nice hourglass figure, so a belt isn’t really necessary. For different styling options, however, I will be trying the dress with some belts and sashes of various colors anyways. The neckline is a bit wide, so be mindful of your bra straps in this dress. At 5’4?, the length hits me mid-calf and looks a bit frumpy with flats, but a pair of heels worked perfectly. It’s also worth noting that I was concerned about the white fabric. I worried it might be too delicate or stain or snag easily, but it’s a perfectly wearable, stretchy knit. This dress is such a statement piece on its own that it’s going to be a bit tricky to remix. But that’s what I love to do, so it should be fun coming up with ways to style this dress!"
"I have been craving color in my wardrobe lately, probably since the weather has been so drab. Plus, the black and white monochrome trend feels like its been around forever! Enter is dress from IGIGI, which is my version of the “girl on fire” dress (holla “Hunger Games” fans.)
This dress is one that just simply makes you feel happy and pretty. Doesn’t every woman need one of those?! "
