Beautiful but size is slightly off

The dress is absolutely gorgeous. The texture of the skirt is, as reviewer Rae described, a wrinkled silk texture, while the slip underneath is a black satin/silk. It is cool on the body, and feels as luxurious as freshly washed egyptian cotton sheets on freshly shaved legs.The bust material is more of a reddish purple, but still looks wonderful and coincides with the colors of the long skirt. The straps are very wide, and concealed the bra strap and the band easily.However, I was a little confused as to which size to order, and ended up measuring myself and going with what my measurements read. Unfortunately, this meant that the bust was a little bit smaller than I'd intended (even though my bust was within the range for the dress size), and I need a little help with the zipper on the side, which goes from armpit to the smallest part of my waist.The length is long, so if you're petite you may need to visit a local seamstress, or wear high heels.Overall, the dress is beautiful and well worth your money... Just be sure you buy the correct size.

Hi there, this is my first IGIGI-dress and I'm absolutely happy about it! Since there's no IGIGI in Germany, I've been curious about ordering in the US, but it was all easy and smooth :)When I put on that dress I'm going to wear to my sister's wedding, my boyfriend went: "WOOOOW"!I love the colours & the style! :) What I actually don't need and what bothers me a little bit is the very, very, veeeeery long sash.

Absolutely beautiful

I just received this dress in the mail yesterday and I'm absolutely in love. The colors in the skirt are pretty true in person, but the top is more of a cranberry/maroon color...very pretty. the fit is just right, like all dresses that I get from here. I love the black that weaves through the skirt too.The one thing that surprised me about the dress was the texture of the skirt. It's not your average silky feeling, but more of a wrinkled silk texture....it's very very beautiful, and as always, makes me feel very beautiful in it.
