  • Love this Jacket

I saw all the clothes and reviews on Igigi and thought I'd try it out for myself. The Marcela Jacket fits me like a glove, is really nice quality and was on sale, a home run in my book. It's lovely to feel feminine and curvy when I thought I was condemmed to boxy shapeless clothes as long as I was a plus size. I just ordered a blouse. I can't wait to get it.

  • Great & unusual jacket; runs large
    14:24 Jan. 27, 2010
I love this jacket! My only reservation in my recommendation is that it runs a little big, so I would order a size smaller than you think you need. The lining is so pretty (canary yellow) that it makes me think of spring! Planning to wear with a flowered skirt and yellow cami. Very attractive & business-like!

  • Wonderful Fit
    10:57 Jan. 25, 2010
This is the best fitting jacket I have ever purchased. The fabric and sewing was wonderful. I like the 3/4 sleeves as I have narrow shoulders and shorter arms. A full length sleeve is usually to long on my arm. The assymetrical detailling is nice as well. Not too trendy, but classic, Along with the skirt and the floral knit top it's a truly flattering outfit. Thank you Igigi!

  • Really Like This

This jacket is stylish, flattering and very comfortable to wear. Being six feet tall, as well as a plus size, finding a jacket that fits, is often difficult for me. With the fashionable 3/4 sleeves, I don't have to worry about them being too short. My only regret, is that the matching skirts and tank tops have all sold out, and there were never any pants that matched the jacket as well l. Still, I am happy with purchase. If the other items are ever back in stock, I will not hesitate to snatch them up, as well.

I was unsure how this jacket would look on me, but I took a chance and I am so glad...it's fabulous! I love the modern styling! It's fantastic to be comfortable and look chic at the same time. I wholeheartedly recommend!

  • Va-Va-Voom Jacket
    18:26 Jan. 6, 2010
This jacket is designed so beautifully. When you slip it on it's a dream to be able to cinch it closed at the waist and get lovely hourglass definition -- sweet in front, but even better defined from the back where there are shapely princess seams. The hem stands away from your hips just-so, in just the right location, mid-hip. In front the jacket dips to a asymmetrical V -- flattering as can be. The lapels are soft and I like to pull them widely open to create almost a portrait-collar look. I bought mine on sale and was unable to get the matching skirt, but this jacket can stand on its own, with wide-legged dress pants, trouser jeans or a skirt. And did I mention it is pretty much a four-season jacket? Thanks, Igigi. I'll be back.

Generally I like this jacket. The style is very flattering, the color is not just flat grey but it has some interesting detailing in it. The yellow lining inside is a nice touch. The only thing that upsets me is loops of threads on the button hole. Call me picky, but they should pay more attention to quality otherwise it’s made in China look a like.

  • Great jacket for all seasons

I love this jacket. i bought when it first came out. it is so flattering, I love the adjustment placket that let's me make it more curvy looking as I have defined waist. And the lining is so beautiful. I usually pay $300-500 for my jackets, but i was amazed how quality this one is, quite comparable to the higher end pieces, at a fraction of a cost. I own all the pieces from this collection, 2 skirts, tank and Ivette top. I love them all.
