This Would Have Been My Wedding Dre...

... but they only had 1 size left and it was just too small :-(I ordered it knowing that the size was smaller than my usual size, but my experience with Igigi dresses has been that sometimes their dresses fit a little big on me even when I follow the measurements. sadly that was not the case with this exquisite dress. With a heavy heart, i returned and promised myself I'd write this review so that some very lucky size 14/16 woman will read this and have no doubt that this is a stunningly beautiful dress. The quality of the material is amazing with shimmering white stretch lace and 2 layers of lining if the size was right this dress would be perfect! It will hide any flaws you might want to conceal while hugging your curves with appreciation for you form. It's gorgeous!

The perfect wedding dress for me (w...

I have a simple, courthouse wedding lines up a few months from now and wanted a dress that filled four criteria: white, knee-length, with sleeves, not ridiculously expensive. It was impossible to find until this dress. It is everything I looked for and I'm so happy with it! I got a 14/16 (I'm more of a 12/14) and I'm just over 5 feet tall. I definitely plan to get it shortened a little as well as bring up the sleeves and make it more form-fitting. I do wish it was available in a more off-whitish color but it's still lovely and I can't wait to wear it on my big day!

Beautiful and classic wedding dress

I owned this dress for a while, although it wasn't my final choice. It was my favorite, however, because it is so modern and comfortable. It has no zippers and substantial lining, which made me feel very covered up, despite the sheath shape. I ultimately sent it back because I'm an hourglass shape (which looked dynamite in this dress), but have a tummy, and the shape is unforgiving for the ebbs and flows in bridal weight. I couldn't risk getting to the big day and not being able to hide any extra weight I had put on. So if you're confident you can maintain (or reduce) your size, go for it! It's gorgeous and just classic! But if you're worried that your weight might fluctuate, either order a size up so it can be altered as necessary, or pick a different dress with a more forgiving shape. That's true of all sheath dresses, not just this one. I'm sad I had to return it.....too bad I don't have another use for a beautiful white lace dress in my life.

very flattering dress

I just received the dress and loved it. It flattered my narrow body and covered my flabby arms. This dress would be a bomb if it came in other colours especially black. There is not much out ther for the women with the bigger arms that doen't look nannaish. well done!!

BEAUTIFUL!

I love this dress! At first I thought it was a little flimsy, but when I put it on, it was WONDERFUL! I said YES to this dress! I can't wait to walk down the isle, it's perfect!
