I Love My Gown!.

"After shopping unsuccessfully for a dress for my daughter's wedding at a local bridal shop, I stumbled upon the IGIGI website. I loved the Bella Gown immediately but noticed that it was out of stock in my size. I called IGIGI and their customer service told me that a size smaller would probably be fine and to check their size chart. I ordered it a size smaller and honestly may have wanted to go even smaller if I could have. At this point most sizes were sold out The gown is beautiful and sexy. I especially like the fact that it has sleeves, as my arms are not my best feature. The wedding is in September and I can't wait to wear it. Both of my daughters think it looks great....and it's so comfortable. "

Lovely dress, not quite what I expected...but close.

"I'm not sure what I expected exactly. I guess I expected a very elegant evening gown. After all, the price of the gown isn't too far from what one would pay in a bridal gown/evening wear shop where you can special order your size.In other reviews I read as well as what is stated on the Why IGIGI page the quality of the dress construction is impeccable. I am a little disappointed in the fabric itself only because it seems a lot more casual than I had hoped. A step up from a matte jersey (in my opinion). This being said, the type of fabric the dress is made of and/or how it is lined helps the dress to almost perfectly to flatter my figure. I normally wear a 18/20 in most dresses. I recently had myself measured by a seamstress and I used these measurements and the IGIGI chart to determine my size of dress. I fall exactly in the 16 waist chart. This dress in particular seemed to be a bit big at the waist. This being one of my nicest features to show off was a little disappointing to hide. I was also hoping for a bit fuller skirt but none the less it is still a rather lovely gown. I am 5'6" and the dress is about 4" too long to be floor length for me. I don't care about this because it gave me a reason buy platform shoes. I prefer my dresses to be floor length and you can always hem a dress but not always let one out.After all this I still find the dress to be lovely and timeless. I am sure I will wear it often. I will continue to shop with IGIGI as long as I can afford it!"

"Nice style,great fabric, a bit pricey though. I worry that if I keep it and have it shortened,it might lose the proportion of nice fall and "sweep" of fabric at the hemline.Sadly I can't wear a heel shoe.Will take it to seamstress and see what it will look like. Would be nice in black. I love that it has a sleeve!!!! Also it is not deep cut at the neckline. So pretty. Fabric is wonderful not at all clingy. "

The dress fit perfectly, I got lots of compliments on it last night! Everyone asked where I had got it. To be honest, It was a bit long, and it's a very dark sapphire blue but very pretty, I normally wear a size 24 but got the 26/28. .

"I purchased this dress for a winter voice recital and it fit me perfectly. Only thing is, the photo is a bit deceiving. I bought shapewear to go underneath because it looked like it would be made from material that would require shapewear, but alas, it does not require it at all. It is a bit long. I'm 5'8" and I wore 1" heels and I was STILL stepping on the hem. The color is absolutely gorgeous, though."
