Beautiful Dress - Nicely Made

I also wanted this dress the moment I saw it. In spite of the price I stil purchased it because it was perfect for an event I need to attend. It's stylish without being too trendy. I paired mine with some gray boots and I was good to go! On sizing, I fell into the 14 according to the charts. I ordered the 14, but the sleeves were too tight on my arms; however the bust fit perfectly. It was snug in the hips and I was borderline on returning it because the material felt like it would stretch enough. I opted to go to the 16. Customer service was great and it was a smooth transaction. I received the 16 and it fits in the sleeves, but is ever-so-slightly large in the bust. The hips fit perfectly and the ShapeStylist worked, because the dress is definitely flattering on. As suspected though the dress did stretch within hours of wearing it. The only thing I woud wish is that it held it's shape more and didn't have so much stretch/give to it. Overall I love it and have received so many compliements.

Nice dress; size runs small

The dress is beautiful, nicely made, the material is nice and lays well. The style is flattering. I ordered the size based on my measurements and followed the size chart exactly, but the dress was snug. If you are unsure on the size, go up in size.

Gorgeous Dress!!!

I received the dress and it exceeded all of my expectations. I love the fabric, heavy with just a bit of stretch and luster. The seams fell all in the right places. The dress skimmed over my bulges without being too tight. I love the neckline. It is very flattering on.

Well Made, But Not Sure About the Sizing

I bought this dress the second I saw it on the website even though it was pricier than I would normally go for, but it was exactly the type of dress I have been looking for to wear to my bridal shower; sophisiticated, a bit of a sleeve for fall weather, and a great color for a daytime event. When it arrived I saw that the berry color was rich and beautiful and the fabric was thicker so I knew it would hide bulges, but the fit was all wrong. I'm only 5' 3" and a diamond according to the shapestylist, so I referred to the "no waist" size chart . According to that chart the only thing keeping me from fitting into a 12 was an extra 1/2" in my waist (I measured it 4 days ago), so I went a head and ordered the 14 hoping that the tummy area wouldn't be too big. However, when I tried the dress on the torso area was actually snug! Because I had to order the larger size though the top part of the dress was much too big and pooched out at the nape of my neck and didn't fit on my shoulders correctly so my bra straps stuck out. I think the torso part of the dress runs smaller than the top. I was really disappointed because I wanted to love this dress - and I still do, just definitely not on my body. : (
