Lanai Dress

"From the moment I opened the box I knew that I was going to LOVE this dress! I love bright cheery color, especially this nice bright orange that is perfectly on trend this season! I love that you can pair it with almost any color, and it looks fabulous. I was going out with the girls to lunch and for a walk in uptown Saint John, NB, and I chose to wear my new dress! It was a beautiful warm sunny day and the dress was perfect for the weather and the occasion. I chose to pair it with a turquoise beaded necklace and a wedge sandal. I also used a belt from my closet that I felt suited the light airy feel and style of the dress, and a colorful floral beaded purse that incorporated the orange and turquoise.

The dress feels light and breathable and I love that it has an "under dress" that is more fitted so that if I gust of wind happened to lift up the skirt, it would keep me covered! It is so comfortable with lots of stretch and give, like a comfy t-shirt! I also love that the dress bodice comes up under my arms to conceal my bra. Although I find some IGIGI dresses to be too big in the chest in order to accommodate my hips (size 22/24), this fits my C-cups perfectly and isn't too tight around the hips!

It could absolutely be a casual, wear-to-the-beach kind of dress with a pair of flip-flops, but with a few accessories and a nice pair of heals you could go out to a nice dinner as well. I have worn it to work as well with a white camisole, a brown belt at the waist, a brown blazer and a pair of brown flats to make it more conservative. It is truly a day-to-night dress by changing only a few accessories!

So far I have received nothing but compliments as to how cute the dress is and how well it suits my body and my personality! Usually the first comment is..."You didn't buy that around here, did you?". To which I usually reply by gushing about IGIGI and how wonderful their clothes are, and how they should check them out online!

I have 2 very different careers, my full-time career as a physiotherapist and my other passion as a licensed makeup artist, so I need my clothes to be able to do double duty in order to get the most bang for my buck, and that is exactly what I know I will get from IGIGI! The quality of the construction, the beauty of the design for my body shape and the classic design of the clothing is what makes IGIGI clothing investment pieces for my wardrobe! I know I will have them for years to come! "
